I know allot of people like this mini, but i dont really. Anyways im looking for a sutible miniature, it doesn't really need wings but it would be a definit plus, some sort of demon or somthing... most importantly it has to look like it fits in lotr... anyways thanks in advance if you can find anything. |

I always found the Demon Prince from Warhammer (Be'Lakor the Dark Master) to look a little like he could be used as Gulavhar. Of course there are a lot things about him that don't fit like skulls, the Chaos symbol on his chest, the giant sword and the chainmail but some of that could be removed with caution. So I geuss with good conversion and sculpting skills he 'could' be a Gulahvar. |

I like the Belakor idea. But he's maybe a bit 'chunky.' There is Heresy's HM022 B'HAKOTH THE DESTROYER, you'd need to lose the weapons though... http://www.heresyminiatures.com/hm022.htm and HM009 AZAROTH THE FALLEN ONE, again, has weapons and he's a big lad. About the same height as a Mordor Troll Chieftan. http://www.heresyminiatures.com/hm009.htm Rackham's Elemental of Darkness or Molochs (under the Legends section) http://www.rackham-store.com/boutique/ Reaper do a few demons http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Demon/latest If my PC hadn't been wiped the other week I'm sure I'd have more... |

I am using this Warhammer model. I am using some green stuff to cover over some of the areas that make it look like he is rotting of something...just adding fur to those spots, but all in all I really like this model. |

You took the words right out of my mouth Mr Bilbo. In the flesh this warhammer bat-thing is just awesome - the details are terrific - it's really a great miniature. |

I never really liked the warhammer gigantic bat... but now I just got a completely different view on it! Bilbo, that's an awesome idea to use that one! Now I love that model! |

I picked it up the other day for this exact purpose. I really didn't like the look of the official GW version, even though they looked like they designed it off the statues outside of Minas Morgul from the films. Let me tell you Bart, this thing it person is pretty cool looking! |

gaarew, some lovely minis there I must say! I painted a Varghulf for my freind not long back and it was very fun to paint as well as suiting Gulahvar. So if you're looking for a fun mini to paint... I personally reccomend him |
