Hello everyone! Well, although a few of you know this already, I thought I'd take a moment to make an official announcement. Having ran a successful business for the past six/seven years, we at Penketh Model Rail Centre are pleased to announce the opening of a brand new model shop located right in the heart of Chester! Easy to find (71 Bridge Street rows - the former ModelZone premises, for any modelmakers who are already aware of the area!) in the middle of Chester, Chester Model Centre will not only continue to provide all the latest railway products from Hornby, Bachmann, Graham Farish, Dapol and Peco, but moving to a larger premises allows us to finally realise our dream of expanding out into a wider ranges of products. We now carry a variety of plastic kits from Airfix, Revel, Academy and Tamiya, diecast collectibles, RC cars, helicopters and tanks, W Britain soldiers, and far more besides. Now the bit that you're all interested in.... Wargaming! Alongside Games Workshop (which has 10-15% off RRP across the range) we now stock Perry Miniatures, Wargames Factory, Gripping Beast, Warlord Games, Plastic Soldier, A Call to Arms, Conquest, Fireforge, Mantic Games, Victrix, Zvezda, and many many more! And not only that, but we also seek to cater to all of your scenic and hobby needs, with brands such as Woodland Scenics, Javis, Gaugemaster, and Skale Scenics, and a large selection of hobby tools, glues, wood, metal, and plasticard materials. So there we have it I'd love to hear any comments or answer any questions, and if any of you are ever in the Chester area (which is an absolutely stunning city) please do pop in and say hello Website soon to follow. |

This looks great, best of luck with it. Next time I'm shafted by the train from holyhead to London and end up with 4 hours on my hands I might pop in |

Another fine purchase from Mr Knightyknight. This time it was some tabletop workshop cottages - Link to TTW Got 3 of the cottages (plus a citadel wood) and I must say the detail is very good. I would write a review but this blog post does it better - review. Top quality service yet again, use with confidence. |
