another exGW employee (Felix Paniagua, he sculpted Vostroyans and Dwarf lord )has started his own sculpting company called Avatars of War. http://avatars-of-war.com/web2mail/web2mail.php its not lotr scale but its worth a look for example: |

Rather Warhammery in style but nevertheless a fantastic sculpt with great detail. I wonder whether he would consider doing other, more 'neutral' generics in 28mm scale that might be useable in Middle-earth? Good luck to him! |

I havepre-ordered one of these and am looking forward to more from this guy. He said on Cmon that he is going to do alot of different races so I will be keeping a keen eye out for that. |

I have seen some of his work before for Warmachine and Hordes from Privateer Press where he is employed full time (with fellow super talented ex-GW employee Mike McVey). The detail is superb and I would love to see a high quality painted version of this mini. I wish him a cheery "good luck" with his private venture - he's certainly got the talent to produce some best-selling models. |

*whistles* wow that is quite impressive, so much action in one pose! GW never does that very much with so many of its heroes. |
