Hey guys :)

So, like the title says, I'm going to start a moria army. Could you give me some advice?
I alread have about thirty plastic goblins, three prowlers, durburz and a cave troll, as well as a few spiders :D

Thanks :kitten:

WHAT A MORIA ARMY???!! That goes against everything a dwarve stands for!!! Nah that's alright I've thought of heresy like this before. Yeah I'd say heaps of the little green buggers, thirty of em should be a good start. Personally I'd prefer an army with gobbos, creepy spider critters and other nasty beasties. I reckon also just go for models you like in the Moria list too. :D

A shaman and the two new Gundabad blisters is a must. the Shaman is obious, he ceeps your army togheter and in combination with Durburz Iron Fist rule your C2 gobbos aren't going anywhere. The Gundabad command blister is mostly for the Drum, the shaman pretty much sucks but he can be fun to play with. The Captain can be used to replace a normal Captain just for some more striking power. I am not a huge fan of the normal Gundabad goblins but I have one pack of them to replace allen drummers and protect my normal Shaman. The cave drake seems quite nasty and can be included in relatively small forces soo it can be worth looking into that. Personally I find great joy and often necisity in fielding a Bat Swarm (which are great in combination with your troll or prowlers).

This is just an example of an army with a Cave Drake

1x Cave Drake -- 150
1x Goblin shaman -- 45
1x Goblin Captain w/ shield -- 40
1x Bat Swarm -- 35
46x Goblins -- 230

500 points/ 50 guys/ only 3 might but you have a Cave Drake

Yep. I want two armies for the tournament that's coming up in June, which is SBG with a maximum of 800 points. I already have enough dwarves for 1000pts, so there's one. My evil army of choice is moria.

Oh yeah, I have a dragon as well.

Right so if you use horde lords list as basis just add your troll, durburz and prowlers. You'll probably want more prowlers and swap in your dragon for cave drake. Then just refine a bit. I don't have lome on me so can't make a list.

Why would you want to swap a dragon for a cave drake. dragons are (in my heavily argumented dicussions) the best model iin the game. i use killing a mumuk in one turn in a monster duel with breath fire to refine my point

you can't have durburz, prowlers and spiders or wargs, they are in two different army lists. the first two are in one army list and the second two in the other.
