Not sure about the first, but I don't think there is a rule against it. No models are unarmed unless the profile specifically says so. |

Quote: Can banner bearer be equiped with elven-cloaks Well i ask because the rule-book says that a model equipped with a banner may not use any weapon or item So i wanna know if a mission marker or a bomb/ladder is a item or something like a elven-cloak?

Acctually woodelves have Daggers (hand weapons) so they do clearly have weapons... High elves however are not mentioned to have any sort of weapon, but FAQ and Errata confirmed this that a model is unarmed if specifically stated so. e.g The Necromancer or Cirdan... |

I would say you COULD give a bannerbearer an Elf Cloak, but one or the other would cancel out. After all, the cloak is to hide you and the banner is to get lots of attention. Those two are in conflict of each other. As for the rest of your question, a banner bearer can probably carry an objective (they are treated pretty loosely) but it wouldn't make much sense for them to try carrying a ladder or explosive or such. Again, his purpose is to run around waving a big banner for all to see. Try doing that while helping haul a 25' ladder. |
