Hello,

We've just finished a scenario in the Two Towers book called "Let's Hunt Some Orc". In the scenario each hero (Legolas, Gimli and Aragorn) has 1 might, will and fate.

Aragorn has a special rule called Mighty Hero that allows him to spend a point of might without reducing his might score.

I told my friend that if he uses 2 might in one turn the Mighty Hero rule will be useless for the rest of the game. My reason was because Aragorn's Might will be zero, and he can no longer spend might.

He said ....."no Aragorn will always be able to spend 1 might even if he's on zero might"

I wasn't sure who was right, so we played it his way. For future refernce, which is the correct way please?

Thanks in advance :)

Okay thanks that's good to know, we will do it his way in future games as well.

I should explain my confusion, it was with how they worded it in the rule book. They write ..."He may expend 1 point of might per turn without reducing his might store"

So i thought of two things immediatly......
1) expend means to spend, to use up, or consume. So i figured he can't consume 0 points. It's impossible
2) to have a "might store" he must have at least 1 might in store

But i understand these things are not always straight forward, and it was probably in an FAQ by GW somewhere. So i accept the ruling. Thanks for the reply :-D

The best way to view it is Aragorn gets +1 might to his store every turn, if this might point is not used it "expires" and is discarded.
