Hi everybody,

I have a gaming table which is 36 inch X 32 inch. How many points/models per player would be best/the maximum?

Thanks

Honestly it doesnt matter too much. Id say up to 800 even would be fine. If I have an issue, heres what Id do.

You can play like 850 even just you and your opponent agree on more monsters/bigger heroes.

For example, you guys could do like 500 points of wood elves with legolas, thranduil, spearmen, archers against 500 mordor with a ringwraith, shelob spearmen swordsmen etc.

OR

you can have an 850 point match using gundabads with Bolg and or Azog, and trolls against Thorins company, or like an army with some New Dwarves, new Thranduil new Legolas and elves/dwarves. Pretty much higher point models.

One thing Id suggest is to not worry about bows in your army too much, as even with the best deployment, you will probably only be like a couple rounds from close quarters.

The more you play the easier you'll find larger games even on a small playing area.

I think you could manage anything up to 600 on that size table but the bigger you go the less room to position your armies will be.

250-500pts is a good level to get started with anyway :)
