Hey all,

I got a few questions in regards of backing away and splitting off fights.

1. When backing away, do you need to back away 1" in a straight line? The reason i am asking, is that when you surround a model with units, you could have some of them getting trapped and others that doesn't due to the edges and stuff. Now, when that happens, i can make double strikes to SOME models. Imaging i am fighting 4 models, 2 get trapped when they back away. So if i have 3 attacks, how do i resolve this? Do i take 1 model at a time, and roll double when rolling for a trapped model, or do i just roll a total of 6 dice?

2. Splitting off fights. Not quite sure how this works in general? O.o seems a little confusing to me.

Hope someone can clarify

With double strikes, you decide which strikes and how many of them will be made at each model, then double them for those models which are surrounded.

Splitting off fights are for when multiple models are engaged in contact with multiple models at once.
for example O O O O
E E E

Now, since there are more Orcs than Elves, and they are all in contact, one Elf will have to battle two Orcs. The player with priority chooses wich Elf may battle one, two or even three Orcs, if the models are positioned like that.
