Can Floi remove the Fell Beast's Special Ability to Fly?

Yes, the model then is grounded for the turn. It's a weird one for sure

As stated, the model could still move 12" but it would lose the ability to move through (over) enemy control zones. It doesnt happen that off

my game group is gonna have a field day with this. I'm imagining this ferocious terrifying beast bunny-hopping through Mordor after Frodo, or doing the worm in hot pursuit.

Yes you can remove the will of evil for a turn. Its only items of wargear Floi has no effect on

Alright guys to further go with this question(because this was from a game we played together.......)

Can Floi use that ability on the fell beast if there are two rows of a shield wall between the two? Because I flew into Floi and ate him, but I had two rows of soldiers. We were trying to decide if he had line of sight (because my troops were clearly blocking) but at the same time, Floi could see the top part of the model over them......

I'm pretty sure Floi would have LoS to a fellbeast unless you have a very tall shieldwall. He only needs to see a bit of the beast to be able to use his power.

^That^ would be a really crazy looking shield conversion!
I thought I had it right (with Floi), annnnd... I did.

LOS has always been a contentious issue in skirmish games.
The other game it always came up in was Squad Leader.

Being 6'6" tall, I guess that I see the board differently! :-D

In LOTR SBG , I am always learning. I could have set up much better.
Hindsight 20/20, I imagine more than have of the sides losing feel the same.

I guess that lordoftheBrownRing owes me a "gimmie" next time!

Lol for sure. Well for one you already pretty much know exactly what I'm bringing haha.

I swear though I've read somewhere and maybe even watched video where you need to see half of the model or more to have line of sight. And I also mentioned to you that someone on here once talked about Flois rule and made it sound terrible to use.

Either way I would have used will to attempt to resist. I had like 14 left when we stopped. I probably would have just taken my fell beast right up the middle had I know it worked like that. And left that flank to the numenoreans and orcs to deal with.

And I actually am glad his rule of line of sight is simpler. I wish there were more clear cut defined rules in these games. Makes it confusing especially when people all have their own two cents then you never know the truth.

I played with my orcs moving 5 inches for 6 months and never used fury correctly both to my disadvantage because I read improper info.
