 Post subject: Mordor Siege bows and siege weapons in general.

So I am using a Mordor siege bow in a tournament coming up. During a practice game we came across a rule problem. I get to chose a target that I can see from the siege weapons crew. Can I chose a model partly obscured by other models or terrain?

If so do I take in the way rolls?

Like I pick a hero who is obscured by other models near him do I roll for in the way first then scatter or does the scatter work as an in the way?

I pick a model who is obscured by a tree that is more than 6" away from the model do I roll for an in the way in this case?
