well your wood elves would get pwned by anyone good. drop a whole heep of them , get your spearmen and swordsmen throwing daggers, drop a captain get some sentinals, think about allying with the white council or including legolas or thranduil. if i had to make a strong 750 pt wood elf army id make it something like this Heroes Thranduil - 90 pts Wood Elf Capt w/ throwing daggers - 70 pts Warriors 3 Wood Elf Sentinals - 75 pts 12 wood elf warriors w/ throwing daggers and elven blades - 120 pts 12 wood elf warrios w/ throwing daggers spears - 120 pts 12 wood elf warrios w/ elven bow - 108 pts Ally w/ White Council Glorfindel, Lord Of The West w/ Asfaloth - 150 pts Thats 733 pts, u can just fill in the points with a few more warriors. any battle with the other player just using 2 dragons wont be very fun. This army is more for normal games. but if you want to beet those dragons drop thranduil and the captain and get the regular galadrial or gandalf the grey or saruman the white to combat the dragons. Just ally with the white council and its all themed and legal. If you want to keep your swarm effect army just drop a few wood elves to get your fellas throwing daggers as they have the same chance of wounding something if you where actually in a fight. |

I agree with hasharins_gaze that you might want to invest in a more powerful hero. Sentinels have some fun abilities and you can get three for the price of one of your captains. For some ideas for using Sentinels tactically, check out the Wood Elf Sentinel Topic in the CTD. As for general tactics, hmmm... I'll get back to you on that. Cheers |
