Well, this is for some fanmade book some people(included me) are working on, heres a link to the thread: http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewto ... 964#171964 i've made the profiles and some descriptions(only for the named dwarfs in the book of mazarbul), its a bit much and i hope you like it(i've made it with a point calculator: http://membres.lycos.fr/l01c/lotrcostcalc.html). if it's any good i could make some other profiles for some goblins like the great chieftain etc anyway here they are: Floi: Floi has some great fury. When he sees the East gate of Moria he runs a fast line towards it. He kills the Great Chieftain(goblin) and got killed himself. F/S S D A W C M W F Points 6/- 4 6 3 2 6 3 0 0 75 Wargear: Axe/handweapon, Armor Special rules: Fearless Possible conversion(or use): Dwarf king Óin: Óin is one of the dwarfs who went on the noble quest to reclaim Erebor. Now he's on his way to reclaim Moria. F/S S D A W C M W F Points 6/- 4 6 2 2 5 3 1 1 65 Wargear: Axe/handweapon, Armor Upgrades: Heavy armor-> +5 points Possible conversion(or use): Dwarf king Ori: Ori was also part of the compagnie to reclaim Erebor. But in the attempt to retake Moria he plays a more important role: He carries The Book of Mazarbul. In this book is written everything what the dwarfs have been through F/S S D A W C M W F Points 6/- 4 6 2 2 5 3 1 1 65 Wargear:Axe/handweapon, Armor Upgrades: Heavy armor-> +5 points, The Book of Mazarbul-> +20 points Special rules: The Book of Mazarbul: With the book Ori gets +2C(Because he wants to protect the book at any costs to be remebered) and he get -2F(cause it is difficult to fight with a book in your hand) and his stand fast is now 28cm(cause the other dwarfs are loyal to him because he has the book) Possible conversion(or use): Bilbo(since he already got a book) Frár, Lóni and Náli are the dwarfs who willingly sacrficed themselves at the bridge of Khazad-dum in order to protect the other dwarfs. Frár F/S S D A W C M W F Points 5/- 4 6 2 1 4 1 0 0 35 Wargear:Two-handed weapon, Armor Upgrades: Heavy armor-> +1 points Special rules: Bodyguard Possible conversion(or use): Dwarf captain Lóni F/S S D A W C M W F Points 5/4+ 4 6 2 1 4 1 0 0 40 Wargear: Bow, Armor Upgrades: Heavy armor-> +1 points Special rules: Bodyguard Possible conversion(or use): Múrin Náli F/S S D A W C M W F Points, 5/- 4 6 2 1 4 1 0 0 40 Wargear:Axe/handweapon, Shield, Armor Upgrades: Heavy armor-> +1 points Special rules: Bodyguard Possible conversion(or use): Drár Note: You can't bodyguard anyone with a bodyguard-rule hope you like them |

sorry for the chaos:P What the hell is a spatie? Anyway, why not just use generic Captain and Shieldbearer stats for these Characters? |

Indeed it's dutch, a rather ugly language which I have to hear al day, poor me I'd say let's use Quenya as a world language, it's designed to be beautifull! Or English with Irish pronounciation, not bad for a second choice |

Or English with Irish pronounciation, not bad for a second choice it is indeed the dutch word for space (sorry for it:3) anyway, on the forums you cant put to spaces after each other:3 thats why it looks so messed up good point of 1p for heavy armor! and why not use captain and shieldbearer profiles? well, the characters have now more depht in them and thats what i like. not just common heroes but heroes with a story^^ |

oh and before people of the Netherlands take offence: I don't like Dutch in any way, regardless of pronounciation, I really prefer English (West-Vlaams has got some beauty but is unfortunatly completely incomprehensible) |

Hey BaruKhazad, I'd like to point out some things that might not work: Floi with 1 wound and no Fate??? I understand that he got himself killed recklessly (albeit heroically) but that doesn't turn him into a 'oops an arrow wounded him he's dead' kind of a hero. I believe that with 2 wounds and no Fate he would be still be vulnerable and yet worth taking in an army. Also, Loni lacks a shoot value (I'm assuming a 4+ or 3+) Sorry if this sounded like a rant, I really like your profiles and no mistake |

ah! i see, i forgot to write down his shoot value it should indeed be a 4+ and i'll give floi 2wounds(but 5points etc) thanks for the critic, it helps me to create good and balanced profiles^^ |
