Post subject: | dwarf chariot |
for a while now I've had the idea of giving my dwarves some cavalry. i wanted to do something like in battle for middle earth 2, a chariot pulled by an ox like creature (on of those that pull grond). so i've been searching for a suiteble model and i found it. at thomarillion's website: http://www.thomarillion.de/index.php?se ... 9f03666663 so now I've got the model i need some rules. i was thinking of altering the khand chariot a bit and this is what i came up with. dwarf: F S D A W C M/W/F 4/4+ 3 6 1 1 4 -/-/- wargear: hand weapon & 2 handed-weapon. may carry bow at +1 point. chariot: S D W 4 7 3 (a strenght more since an ox is stronger then a horse, a D more because dwarves build things stronger then man) the special rule remains the same, exept he has 20cm movement, as its an ox, not horses pulling the chariot. i was thinking about 27 points (25 +1 more for the dwarf, +2 for the stength/defense -1 for the movement) for the dwarf captain riding a chariot: just an additions to his war gear: chariot +35pt (its 30 for the khand king - 5 for move +10 for strength/defense) I've also created some WOTR stats, check the WOTR forum if you're intrested. C&C much appreciated! BTW: does anyone know the scale of thomarillion's models? do they fit nicely with GW's? |

i have thought about making one of these beasts, by converting a childs toy Rhino; cut the horn away, add greenstuff to resculpt beasts long frontal horn, add more for front shoulder enhancement, and tweak tail. several scales available from your local toystores... |
