After they had been sitting in the loft for several years, I finally decided to dust off my LotR minis and get some paint onto them. My painting skills are rather rusty at the moment, and I am waiting for my muse to visit, but I think these have turned out OK.

My eyesight has begun to fade in recent years, and looking at other people's fantastic renditions of these minis on this site I have noticed many mistakes I have made with putting the wrong colours in the wrong places. That said, they look good enough on the table when I look at them from a distance.

I think they look nice and I have to disagree with you about colours in the wrong place. It's about painting them your way and how you decide, I don't think there is a right or wrong colour scheme.
