Amazing work for Armies on Parade and considering the odd requests for the elves they look good.

That is a really impressing looking army! Especially on that base 8)
It's a shame GW only released 6 different poses for the Gundabad Orcs, that's the only thing which could make the parade look more dynamic ;)

That Gundabad armies on parade force is huge! Amazing work, the details going into the display board are fantastic - I love the vultures on the frozen river, and showing the water still flowing beneath the frozen top by putting the fish in there is such a cool idea. Not surprised you won with that effort :D

Glass Bowl Diorama number 3 complete.
Figures converted by Dave Fredericks as usual.

Scene depicts Glorfindel bidding farewell to his lover (base model Goldberry so don't tell Mr Bombadil lol) before he leaves for Gondolin.

Quite difficult working inside the glass bowl.

Full set of pictures can be found on the S&F website - www.Shadowandflame.co.uk

Pictures added to Cool Mini Or Not and Putty and paint if you would like to register a vote follow the link. Much appreciated.

Absolutely stunning, really love it! :yay: Your work never ceases to amaze me.
You really captured an 'elvish' environment very well, I think.

Love the bowl and the AOP display. I'm always impressed at how you get the water effects to work out so well.

That's really cool. What do you use for the ferns?

The two largest fern leaves are etched brass things, I think they are from hasslefree miniatures. The smaller ones are just painted cardboard.

Thanks for the comments

Hope you are all having a nice christmas.
Managed to finish up on Dain ft & mtd. I wrote a painting guide for the foot version and will write something up for the mtd in the next few weeks. If you are interested you can find the guide on the S&F website http://www.shadowandflame.co.uk/painting-dain-ironfoot

Just stunningly good work there Kev - as usual !

Love the face, beard and hair especially....and also the slight gold edge highlight on the armoured skirt pops and really adds to the look...

Thanks also for the very helpful guide, Dain is well down my painting que but I'll definitely refer back to you guide when I get to him ;)

ps - I voted and gave you a nice solid 10 :)

I look at those glorious minis and all I can here is the voice of Billy Connolly shouting 'Come onnnnn!'

Cheers guys.
@Dragon1836 - the diorama was completed on commission for a customer. It is the third time I've done this piece.
