The hill looks very good. A little rough in some places but overall it is a very nice piece. The way the green shows through the sand and flock give it a very natural look. Adding a few more tones to the sand, starting with a darker grey and then dry brushing on a few successively lighter layers, would make it look even better. Keep up the good work.

Your hill looks surprisingly good, I wasn't expecting it to look like that when I first saw the wip pics of it. I just need to get mine done...

Your painting on the goblin is nice but with some neatening up. Namely the neck and the ears have some silver splashed on them, a quick touch up would help it a lot. Aside from this it looks quite good overall . 8)

Ty,
I checked the gob on the silver - I didn't see any on the wrong place on my real figure. Perhaps the way i painted the helmet - could be the problem :) I see it this way... --->
Image Like he has some kind of neck protector ...

I see, I was meaning the sides of the neck. You've painted them green but some of your silver paint has gone onto the ear. Or is that just more of the neck protector?

It seams to be the lighting. Do you use the flash when you take pictures? Because that makes the mini look really shiny, as yours do, which cause all those white/silver spots which can't be seen on the real thing.

jup most of the time i use the flash - makes it really hard to take the pictures. I really should take a better look for how to take decent pictures.

I don't play outside in the garden - i could if i wanted to. But i varnish my figures because i have noticed paint loss on some figures after playing. And varnish makes sure you don't lose paint of your miniature. I should say if you want to varnish do it better then me. Because mine is to glossy. I am trying to work on it now... i hope ill make progress in it... ( make sure there is no paint left in your brush ... really bad ...if that's the case. I got a miniature with yellow confetti now because of that  )

a quick fix for your gloss would be to buy a pot of matte varnish from GW, or somewhere similar, and paint(or spray) it over. It'll protect even more, and stop the shine.

I like it when the glue is wet , it looks like snow. Image :)
I sculpted a dragon really quickly today in fimo. here the first steps Image

Gob for scale

It's a small fantasy dragon. I didn't make an armature for it so it wasn't very stable. I might have done wrong to do the skin that way... but it was a fast way. And easy to rear if i pressed to hard. I started to accidently deform good sculped pieces after a while.. not really fun. It's fimo so it stayed a bit to soft.. Comments are welcome. And yeah the wings are a bit weird...
