Well congratulations, this is the first time I see an easterling warpriest and quite like the miniature.:p It's also the first time I noticed how ridiculously big the dragon knight is. I mean even the easterling captain is a large miniature, but he's nowhere near as large...

Furthermore, I can only hope I may one day paint on the same level you are on.:p Very smooth highlighting and warm colours.:)

Great work! I think your khandish cheiften is my favorite, the blending and colour choice are great. I also really like the mounted captain conversion, good job. The AotD are looking great too. Did you go with the base coat white and then wash/glaze like crazy option, or did you actually paint them normally?

I agree about the ghosts being the best LotR minis, I have a box even though I have no use for them (spectres maybe?!)

Yours look fantastic, some of the best I've seen.

Hello guys, long time no see.
It has been a while since I last posted in here but it wasn’t until recently that I got around taking photos of some WIPs that are currently on the workbench.
The trailers and all those lovely new models worked their magic on me and did some conversion work on my Rivendell elves.

First, my spear armed bowmen:

Then eleven elves with shields all in different positions:

All of them will be painted like this fellow:

I just hope that this time I'll manage to update the topic on a more regular basis...

All this stuff looks fantastic! I absolutely love the converted Easterling Captain, and it's clear you put work into the AotD. Most people have trouble distinguishing the armour from cloth and flesh, while holding the scheme together. Keep the work coming!

Thank you guys.
In addition to my Rivendell elves I started painting my converted Glorfindel, Lord of the west on Asfaloth.

A lot of work to be done on this one, since I believe that such a hero deserves special attention.

Additionaly, today I finished my Army of the Dead models with a final coat of matt varnish. I must say I consider these to be the best models GW has releashed for the LOTR range so far. Almost ready to paint out of the sprue.

Hi riririvos, lovely work :D

Could you please tell me the recipe for your army of the dead?
