Reminds me of an old gw website article on how to convert all your spiders queens and they had basically that colour scheme

now I've been working on a dragon, I think I'm done with the skin and eyes the rest is still a wip

Just repainted my balrog and took away a bit of the green stuff and went for a lighter tone on the fire which I'm quite pleased with but not sure if there's too much red and orange on the wings

If so, the Balrog looks great! Don't worry about the wings

Edit: sorry if I was hard to understand but the lower two are the finished ones but top one the fire is finished but i'm currently painting the wings. I'll see if I can find a photo of my old one

It does remind me of my own balrogs a lot more now, I think the alterations you made have definitely improved this model

I like the troll - nice variation from the normal types. I wish GW would consider making a different set of arms for the balrog.
