My first name is Thomas.
And thankyou! You speak very kindly about my work.

@ Sticky Fingersss, those orcs will be painted up soon hopefully, but not quite yet. I still have a stack of models to get through.

Sorry guys but no new photo's yet. I have since done more to the Mahuds skin, making it look waaay better. I have also painted other parts of them. Hopefully they will all be finished soon.

The mahuds are done but no pictures unfortunately. They are all packed away.

I do have pictures of the Mordor uruk hai I have been working on though.

I have used the Wargames Factory orcs. They are absultley brilliant models and I thought they would be perfect for Mordor Uruk-Hai. They are a great deal larger than normal orcs so it suits them to be of the superior breed.

Now shagrat has thirty soldiers to lead, not just the six.

I have added my own personal details to them as well.

They are now undercoated. You will notice that the ones on the photo have had cloaks sculpted onto them. I did this to make them fit in with the metal mordor uruk hai more and also to make them more dynamic and have more movement. Also for extra diversity.

Heh I have four of these in my box with the red eye uruks because I had the exact same thought. I'll convert mine a little though so they fit better with my existing ones

Also, by the way, I think it is a bad idea giving your mtd hunter orc 2 swords, as the while reason why they lose their attack whilst mounted is based on the premise that they cannot hold 2 swords whilst mounted.

The Mordor Uruk Hai are nearly all done. I just need to paint a few details and add stuff to the bases.

Here's a picture just to give you a rough idea of what they look like

I am also sculpting Murin for the sculpting contest.

Wow, they look fantastic! They suit the regular Mordor uruks quite well and also really add some needed variety! Painted they look a lot better too and I think you did a great job on that. Also like your freehands!

like those mordor uruks alot - the paint scheme is great and the shield details really help them seem like actual troops of mordor. nice work.
