You could make the wall like you planed. Just move the tower back so that there is a walkway between the wall and the tower.
Don't glue any thing until you are sure it is what you like.

Making a little platform for the tower would work for making the windows be above the walls. But like Willow said don't glue anything till you are totally sure.

I should have painted the inside first b4 sticking that one side on - but i think i painted it up wel enough - so that u won't notice. I am working on a guard cabbin/house for near the jail. (Still gotta make a door for that). Any one has an idea how to easily make barrels and wooden boxes. I want to fill a part of the part up with supplies. Because it's hard to get ur figures out of there. That way it would look filled up a bit.

I hope this gate thingie will work Image fingers crossed;
i based myself on jscottbowman system of the harad fortress -
I wonder what i fear most - that the glue won't hold - or that it won't fit.
I let it dry - and i ll see what gives tomorrow.
The guard house looks like it's painted by a nine year old lol.

Building is like sculpting it is done in small stages. What you have done so far is good.

You've done some fast progress on this build which is great to see. I like the idea of a Harad fortress. The doors turned out quite well, will be a great place to hold out a battle or two. For the gatehouse, I wouldn't have put it bright red and white. Those colours were used more in the 18th century than medieval times. Also I think you only really need a base coat of black and a dry brush of grey to get your stone effect. Little bits of green can be used near edges where damp has occured rather than all over. Next idea could be to use some foliage? Good work overall though, great stuff. :)

Ty Drum - well i painted it a bit up like my tower so that they would match - but the greys r quite different
also colours might be bad because i took it with flash in my dark room ( it was evening) :) Ye it still needs some green and sand.
It's not specific a harad fort - But it could go trough for that :) The gondorian tower could be putted on it.
I think this is probably an easy fort to make - and fast to make :) - i don't got much free time :x Shouldn't have been animating 24 frames a second :-X

I like the skill in the detail like on the helmet and the highlights. But I think the colours are a bit too bright and contrast a bit too much myself.

I know - but i had some previous ones that had those colours - and i felt i lost some army feeling
so i decided to paint the remaining of those numenor the same colours so they would fit more together. I am going to use regular colours on the remaining elves.

Personally, I like the alternative colour scheme that you've used on the Numenorean. It's painted quite well too, though I'm not a fan of the skin, it doesn't look like a very realistic colour to me though it could be the picture. How did you paint the skin out of interest?

Ty Jake, yes indeed the skin colour is not realistic. I used rotting flesh...
i wanted a light skintone when i went to buy paints.
I took that cause it seemed good - but unfortunatly it has some green in it (guess that might be the rotting - i just tought i bought myself a lighter skintone - cause dead people turn out lighter skin...)
I am colour blind and i actually don't see the green.... I sometimes mistakes green for human flesh when colouring...
I keep using it - caus i felt it would be a waste to let it dry out... and i limited the amounts of paints i have... it was getting expensive lol

Fair enough. I personally use mixtures of tanned flesh, dwarf flesh and elf flesh to attempt to achieve a realistic colour. But if you don't want to buy that many due to expenses, dwarf flesh with a brown wash is a simpler way (using either flesh wash, brown ink or ogryn flesh wash, all work well) which works pretty well too.

just some idea that popped in, dunno if it's good.

Basically it's to decorate bases... Just print out some elfish writings, runes, hands, rohanmotives,... print out so that it fit around nicely around ur base - and glue it on.. lol

I like the idea of the names, but if I were you I would not put on symbols and such, it might become a little much.. But I like the name idea, also the writing looks great for the elves.
I did this aswell, make sure you print it out small enough or there will be some cracks in the paper if you glue it on. I'm planning of doing it on the bottom of the base (if you turn it upside-down). Like to see how you do it.

I too like the idea for putting names on bases in this way. I've seen them painted on before and also seen someone use pretty much the same approach you're using, and this way seems to work much better. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out, good luck.
