I like it. Maybe a little to bright for my taste given how dark the rest of the models are, but nonetheless I like the contrast. 8)

Looking good! my only criticism is that the red looks a bit to bright, but that could just because of the camera. other than that they're great! 8)

They're coming along really well!
I quite like that shaman model, he looks like he's trying to imitate the Ringwraiths, with a black hooded cloak!

Great job on the red cloth, it looks good! This is shaping up to be among your best work, keep at it! :D

Thanks for all of the comments guys, they mean a lot! :D

I actually decided to paint the shaman's cloak brown, as leaving it black would have made it identical to the other cloth he's wearing. I like how it turned out, though I'm thinking I may want to darken it with another wash or two.

Once again, comments and critiscm are welcome. :)

I like the brown, it looks nicely blended. It's also a nice 'warm' brown, almost a bit red. 8)

Thanks for the compliments guys! :D

I painted all of the straps and belts this morning, using similar colors to the shaman's cloak. It's nothing major, but I thought I'd share so you guys could see the shaman and banner bearer from slightly different angles. :)

Next I'll be painting the wooden areas. I'll be practicing my wood grain technique, as I plan to use it on a much larger project...

Really nice painting Josh, they look awesome! :yay:

I also like the colours you chose, they suit the Orcs well

These really are looking good (feels odd saying that about orcs). I was dead wrong voting for white on the banner, the red looks top-notch and really fits the mordor theme. Can't wait to see these finished!

I like these a lot! The scheme fits nice and the armour looks very good.

The pictures are clear, but maybe you can go a little closer.

Thanks Mac! It's great to hear a compliment from such a great painter as yourself. I'll be sure to take some pictures of them a little closer for the next update. 8)

Well, after a little bit of a break I finally got around to painting the wooden areas. I'd never painted using the wood grain technique before, so I'm satisfied. The pictures aren't the greatest to see the wood grain details, I was having trouble trying to make it visible. C&C welcome. :)

Nice work, especially on the banner shading.
