Thanks LAG.
I use Scale 75 paints and inks. They are superb paints that dry Matt and flat. The Metallics are the best about. I have virtually the full range and used mainly the blood and fire set with colours of nature for the skin. Underbelly with wood and leather set but with inks thrown in. There inks actually dry Matt as well.
I also used Army Painter shades.

I'm intrigued by the Scale 75 paints as I use currently use a mix of old GW paints, Vallejo Game and Model and the Army painter washes and Metallics. The Foundry range is also something I've been thinking about getting some paints from.

Scale 75 have unites fine particles and a transparent quality to them. They are a dream for glazing but are no beginners paint.
The metallics are simply immense, the difference between them and Vallejo GW is huge, I've actually given a mate a load of my Vallejo as I won't be using a lot of them again.

Gandalf, do you have any experience with warcolours? They're a different (newer) online paint company that interests me, and the dead cheap flat rate shipping is a huge bonus.

Ihave someone of their paints and they are good yet different. They have a much longer natural drying time so you can work with them for longer, great for wet blending. They do have an unusual feel and do take a little getting used to. That's not a negative comment as different isn't always bad.
Excellent through an airbrush.
I did a test for them prior to launch of their metallics. Their copper is the most vivid copper I have ever seen, literally new copper piping in a paint pot.
I bought their full range of purple and below is the purple 5 through an AB.

Look at the purple hook to the side of the head and you can see how well they blend, this was with Scale75 greens.

Wow mate! That is some seriously fine painting you've got going on there. Stunning work, as usual.

Love that shot of the face, so sinister and the eye just brings it to life.

Great work! It is such a pity the Gundabads were not done in plastic.

Justice done to Smaug as expected :D

Great work Gandalf as always. I dare not start my Smaug yet, I think it will be a project for autumn/winter.

So here is the full army complete. It's been a great job to do and has taught me a couple of things on bulk painting quicker but not compromising on quality.
Here you see table top quality.
