This isn't a WIP, but I wasn't sure where to put it....perhaps a new section for finished miniature would be useful? I know on Dakka Dakka, for example, they have Painting and Modelling for finished miniatures, and P&M blogs for WIP blogs. Just an idea

Several buddies of mine got together with me at my place today, and I introduced them to the hobby.

All of them liked it, and completed miniatures. Unforunately I only got pictures of two. These two teens show a lot of potential, they're already showing a lot of attention to detail.

I really liked the forest camoflauge of this one, especially on the tunic.

Good coverage and an interesting scheme on this one.

I gave my pals the link to this site so they'll probably see your comments, I'm sure they'd appreciate feedback! :D :)

They are very good painting for first timers, are you sure they haven't done any of this type of stuff before?
Note sure of the yellow on the second one but they are nice and neat. Perhaps some washed to improve depth. Keep up the good work. I hope they continue in the hobby.

I was considering introducing them to washing and highlighting, but unfortunately we didn't have time :)

Thanks for the compliment, I'm sure they appreciate it :yay:

You've surely been blessed to have people near who you show such interest. Several years ago I tried something similar and I don't think anyone got much further than painting the whole thing one colour, though my work back then was hardly as good as these. Luckily two of them became interested in sbg due to a completely unrelated event and here I am.
Hopefully they'll pursue this.
