After suffering from major hit of painting de-motivation, I decided I needed to set myself a project with deadlines and stuff. So with a gaming colleague we decided to painted, build and play our way through the three Journey Books. I already have most of the figures required but not painted, the project would also encourage me to start building some terrain again. Some of the photos in this thread aren't WIP as far as the painting is concerned but they are in the completion of the project to paint all the miniatures required and build the themed terrain to play ALL the Scenarios. Also some of them may have been seen before so apologies for that.

So I'll start with the first Scenario as soon as I get some photos together.....

Oh I hope this is the right place to post this....

Ok first off for Evil, the Witch-king and two Ringwraiths....

Possibly been seen before.

I'm using Rangers of Middle-earth for the Dunedain and they are just being varnished and based.

Very nice ringwraiths. I'm really interested to follow this thread since I just started the FotR project myself, although I plan to skip a few terrain features. Good luck for the journey, and keep us updated!

those wraiths look very good but the base could use a bit more detail (just a little bit)
well done, I certainly follow this thread. 8)

Ok, as I haven't got any of the Dunedain miniatures yet I'm using Rangers of Middle-earth for the first couple of scenarios instead. Here are three with swords. These were already painted before i started the post so I hope it's ok to post them here still....

Thanks

Very nice! :yay: I like the leathery parts. :) Bows are also a cool colour, are the bleached bone?

Like the others have said, great work on the leather. The mud on the ranger's cloak is a nice addition as well.
