I know the rules on posting pictures from off site but there were just way too many pictures to take and I didn't really have the time to put them all into the thread right now. I'll make sure to change it later though. So anyways here are some of my figures from my good collection:http://www.flickr.com/photos/52174826@N05/sets/72157625497270904/ Been playing SBG since September 2007 and have a bunch of figures from both good and evil armies. There is a lot more stuff to get up and to get painted so Ill post progress pics soon. |

I'm actually more of a Dunedain Ranger fan, but Gondor was my Favorite faction when I first started the hobby. I'll definitely post up some more pictures soon (Gonna try and Paint Gandalf today.) and thanks for the Comments! |

The snow was laid the same way as static grass but you add them in layers. When one layer dries you put some PVA glue over the layer before and sprinkle some more Modeling snow over it. Keep doing this until you get the desired deepness of snow. (Speaking of which it snowed here today!) I finished up Gandalf yesterday so I'll try to get some pictures of the old Istari. BTW is there anyway that I could change my Display name? |

Some really cool work there. Again I like the snow bases, and the extra detailing you've given the bases of the WoMT... Are my eyes deceiving me or have you painted the reflection of the flaming brand in Aragorn sword...... Looking forward to seeing more..... |

Yes I did paint the reflections of the torch on to His sword. Sadly the paint got chipped on his sword and I had to take it off so I can repaint it. |

Hello Again Everyone! After an absence I finally got back into the hobby and got a whole lotta updates to show! Many of the miniatures I got awhile ago I just left them off and were gathering dust in my case. I'm going to try and paint them some time this week. Click to: Show Terrain Just last Friday, I got a sudden urge to finally start making some terrain pieces for my gaming table. Click to: Show Other WIPS These are some guys I haven't got to painting yet. I also have 24 dwarf rangers in the same state as well along with some Orcs Rangers I think Im going to make this figure Halbarad. Mainly because the banner on the new figure looks too much like the normal Gondor banner where this one has it's own design. Plus I sculpted a quiver to his back so he can have a bow. Pippin and some guardsmen with my custom Osgiliath bases. Painted Minis Click to: Show Well sorry for the overload of images but I hope you like um. I'll try to make some more updates since I'm planning on building A LOT more terrain. Speaking of which, does anyone know where to buy some discounted hirst arts molds? I would buy them from him, but they are REALLY expensive and I can afford them with what little money I have. (I'm only 15 after all) Well anyways I'll see y'all round! |

Great work, as usual I a very jealous of the way you paint skin, it looks so life-like. Nice sculpting as well, and that has to be my favourite mini as well. Cyndra the Grey |

Thanks for the comments guys! garmenhord: The ruins aren't actually cardboard (Although they do look like it now that I look at um.) The foam in the middle of the piece melted when I undercoated it, even though I sealed the whole thing with PVA glue! But it didn't turn out too bad. |

Got some more progress pictures! Got the guys primed up and based along with some soon to be Dunedain Rangers. The next couple of pics are of some models I got a long while ago that needed a new paint job. Don't have any before pictures though, would've been useful to show the improvements. (All of them are Gondor by the way. ) Beregond's face looks a little funky, but overall I like how he turned out, especially the eyes. And my Citadel Guard Archers. Love how these guys look. Can't wait to paint the new spear versions I got back in the Winter. I think I'm going to touch up on the rest of my Gondorians as well. Well that's all for today. I may have some more tomorrow since I'm heading down to the shop with my friend for the day. Don't really know what we're gonna do yet.... |

Thanks everyone! Ultrageek: I also thought the same thing after Painting the yellow. It made them stand out much better than how they were painted before. garmenhord: Oh, that freehanding gave me a headache, but I love how it turned out! |
