Thought I would do my own one of these whilst the Mumak which is being done by my partner mainly

so I have been doing a fair amount recently and here is 5 guys I have painted in the last couple of days

these are generally for my can only play with painted models games .. which tbh seems to be getting too many evil models recently as I find them quicker and easier to paint with the grimy stuff rather than the clean (harder to paint) look

well here they are..

thanks very much mate im planning on probably painting an entire easterling army, the pike is all metal yeah, wanted it fairly basic so I can potentually do alotof them .. been working on the dwarves tonight but tbh they have been far harder, im not great at 'cleaner' looking models

Very nice painting. 8) You could always make them look dirty too. They are in fact fighting a war. :-D

Wow!
brilliant stuff 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
all very clean, good painting 8) 8)
IMO that kataphrakt is, though lacking some of the finer details, at least as good as 'eavy metal do them :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

is there any chance you could resize your pictures before you put them on? the current ones are massive

thanks yeh I do try to resize them but somwtimes they still come out large, I uess the original files are really big heh, yeh the kataphract could do with more detail on the horses face, I may leave him though as im planning on doing a whole army of them and want them more good table top standard than eavy metal thanks for the constructive critisim thouge mate :)

thanks Sid, I did a mixture of made up techniques on the beards using the new paints basically onecolour then washd then another colour as a highlight then maybe another highlight or wash or both, heh they were all different .. I liked the ginger one tho he looks prob the best close up.

btw your dwarf pic has some of these guys in it so I think they are official dwarves not sure about all of them though
