Excellent work on these guys. The paint jobs are clean and neat. The conversions are great as well. Where did you get the extra spearheads for the guys you converted from swordsmen?

Ooo, nice vivid reds. Great paintjobs and flawless conversions. My favourite is the mounted captain carrying his helmet. Very unique.

Very nice painting, though I don't think Easterlings look right without their awesome helmets on their heads.

I made a mold of the banner's tip and then used greenstuf and brass rod for the duplicates.

It's pretty easy and basic I could say. First, the whole mini was basecoated either white or bleached bone. It just works better for these tones. Then I painted all the armour's parts with a 1:1 mix of gold and silver with a few chainmail highlights here and there. Finally, it was washed with devlan mud.

Additionaly, today I finished my Army of the Dead models with a final coat of matt varnish. I must say I consider these to be the best models GW has releashed for the LOTR range so far. Almost ready to paint out of the sprue.
