Hi lads. My name is Matt and im from Essex in England. I have a small Rohan army that i would like to share with you. Enough of the intro.

Here is my 500pt army:

Erkenbrand mounted
08 Westfold Redshields - throwing spears

Grimbold
12 Helmingas inc Banner - 7 throwing spears

Captain
09 warriors - 5 throwing spears

very, very nice. love the way you keep with theme and your colour schemes are the perfect image of rohan in my opinion. keep it up 8)

Alright then today the 29/03/2012 i decided to upload a few more photos. Its taking me a long time to do these and i keep being sidetracked etc. So sorry about that.

Anyway i have the infantry sheilded and based but still missing their tuffts. I still have all the cavalry yet to do (hopefully soon-ish).

1st pic is W.I.P Erkenbrand mounted:

Very good work, they are in my top 5 best ever painted Rohirrim I've seen. Good luck completing the small army.

From the newest update I find the Erkenbrand the best lookin. Althought I think you should try to highlight a few elements more - try red till beached bone, and gold till silver - simple but effective. But still he looks very nice, I would love to see him finished :-D
Grimbold still needs some more work I guess - try to blend black and white for the black clothes - now it looks like codex gray direclty on black, but IMO shoud be done more smooth. The same goes for brown - try some midtones, also try to hightlght it even more - vomit brown and maybe even beached bone, or graveyard earth. Now it looks kinda to plain for me :-D
But anyway, sorry, maybe I'm bein to harsh, but i think the more pracise the better :) . Rest looks nice, althought what i wrote above apply.
