Hey all, I suppose it's time I finally started one of these things. I'll be focusing in Mordor initially, as that's one of my most neglected forces. These are just basecoasted right now, I'll post new pics as I paint them. Grishnakh and Orc Drummer: Mordor Uruk-hai: Metal Orcs: Morannon Orcs: |

Hey guys, I hope you're not expecting anything remarkable here. My painting is pretty good, but pales in comparison to so many of the guys on here! Anyway, Uruks are about halfway done. Hope to have completed shots of them up tomorrow. Silly work, it's getting in the way of my painting! |

Ok, here are some shots of those Uruk-hai: And a couple of some Wild Wargs I was in the middle of and decided to complete: I'm really unhappy that I got the Wargs started before I picked up some liquid green stuff. It would have filled those ugly seams nicely. |

The uruks look great! I like the colour of the cloth. I reckon you can still fix the gap in the wargs with GS and paint over it. You'll need to sculpt in the fur, but it should be possible to match it up pretty well. |

Nice looking Uruk-hai! The wargs are an easy fix, so no worries on those guys. |

Thanks guys! I'm pleased with how the Uruks came out, they were fun to paint as well. Back to work tomorrow, but I have Wednesday off so hopefully I'll have some more stuff to show by that evening... |

Love the Uruks mate. I agree on the wargs im afraid. You could just fill the gap and paint over (i know its a pain but at least piece of mind). |

I like your Uruk-hai and Wargs. I like the way you used GWs white warg scheme, but kept fur on the legs and face, very nice way |

I liked the White Warg scheme a lot, so I'm using it for my Wild Wargs. Warg Riders have a colour scheme more in keeping with the films, and my larger Wolves have a Fenris Grey drybrush layer to give them a bit of a blue tinge. Not sure if anyone noticed, but I painted the fur around the one Uruk's shoulders to match my Wild Warg colours, right down to the Bestial Brown spots. Doing that was what reminded me I still had four of the beasties halfway done. |

I have notced, it stands out more than the usual fur, and is a nice touch, should help put those Blackshields in their place. |

I promised an update today, but my luck just wouldn't have it. After looking like it would rain all day, the sun came out just before I finished work. Then I got home and discovered that my camerawoman is away this evening. Ah well, gives me time to do a bigger reveal tomorrow! |
