Ok Madfrog, time to get serious. I can see you are painting to a pretty good standard already. The goblin king has been done well with a nice 'gritty' paint scheme that I like. Here's the however though. The join on his shoulder stands out a mile and is something you need to look at from here on. There are numerous ways for filling these join lines in and it is definitely worth the effort. For example you can use some green stuff, a two part compound you mix and literally fill in the gap. Allow this to dry for 24 hrs and file to suit. I know you may find this tedious but is a line, in my opinion, you need to go down. If there is any help you need I am only too glad to assist if I can, though the advice you get from some of the better painters / modellers will give you huge benefits. |

Thanks Harfoot And Gandlaf the Grey Would I be able to fill it with the brush on greenstuff you get in the little pots? Because yeah I did notice that bit and had no idea at all how to fix it! so Thank you! for that tip. |

I've not used the liquid green stuff before, only the regular type which has done the job for me so far. There is also this Milliput method http://massivevoodoo.blogspot.co.uk/200 ... liput.html |

Ah okay I think the gap was too big for the liquid I ended up having to blob it on but should be able to sand/file it to end up looking good |

Your goblins look much better when they are photographed together with the wood in the background. The only suggestion I could make is to drybrush the bases with a lighter colour to make them more realistic. |
