Looks lovely, but I really wish the scenic base was separate from the oval part of the base. That way I could have sculpted a different "rocky terrain" base to set Smaug on. Oh well, I guess I can build a different base for non-Erebor scenes. But yes... I am jealous! >.< |

Worth a look at Scale 75 paints, they are compatible with an air brush. |

Very nice. I am looking forward to the WIP. Some measurements of the base will help. I am sure the kids will want to play as soon as they see the movie. |

Yes, very much so. I played a WWI game years ago converted from Blue Max. We used 1/72 model kits on radio antennas. All of these games evolved from that. |

Hope you can restore it to normal without a problem. Looking forward Harfoot to your WIP. |

Finished assemblinb him, there seems just one problem..one of the headspikes on the sides..it doesnt look like it broke off...but it seems odd...and after checking everything..there is no part left putting him together took about 8 hours...gapfilling and doing the other stuffs will take just as long..all in all...one fine dragon |

^Just to let you know about the head spikes, that may be done on purpose. So you guys should keep note. On the DoS Extended special features they did mention Smaug having a few broken horns to represent his age and experiences. He's seen his fair share of battles. |
