Hi :)

I don't know whether my idea sounds stupid or smart, but the thing is, I've just thought about writing a petition to GW/DeAgostini about re-issuing BGiME. It was such a wonderful thing and I missed it as a kid. It could be just the same issues again, or maybe sort of new series, according to the new Hobbit movie. Would there be some guys to sign up for petition like that?

Ok, thanks for answer :) So what is the best way to make it? Will the www.ipetitions.com be a good solution?

I would most certainly sign it and exhort others to do so as well. You could encourage people in other forums, or from your hobby store, to sign it too.

Though I do not know which is the most effective way to proceed and how to organize your undertaking.

I think it's a great idea. The old BGiME's were excellent and a really great way to get new people into the hobby but, TBH I don't think GW will listen though, in the state the company is in at the moment. And with prices as they are there is no way/no cheap way that they would do the free models that were so great in the old ones.

Still, always worth a try I suppose... 8)

Wow, thanks for replies and signing up :) I know that GW is not that likely to give something cheap (over a decade toys, Internet and other cool things got worse) but yeah, it doesn't cost us anything :) Please share it on facebook and in local stores ;)

I am number 9 to put my signature on the petition, and the only one to write an ear-full lol

Brilliant idea - although GWS would charge £15 per issue now :-)

Count me in!

Just make sure to send it to deAgostini/GW as soon there's a acceptable amount of signs (I suppose 1k+?)
