Hi guys,

Does anyone know where I can buy flowers for my terrain? I was thinking of hobby craft but they are a little tacky?

Thanks

This kit from Woodland Scenics can make for very realistic looking flowers if you just trim bits off and glue them to the base or terrain you intend to use them on. It's quite expensive but will last a long time if you are only using them for base - http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics. ... 663/page/1

If you are wondering how it will look on a base, you can see it used on a base about halfway down the following article written by one of the admins on here - kb.php?a=38

I've seen an article about making Rohan Barrow where they used a dress pin painted green and crumbled circles of paper from an office hole punch....

But guess it really depends on the effect you looking for :)

Hi - The dolls house miniature plants from hobbycraft are pretty good when you cut them up tho theyre also quite expensive so might not work out being worth your while on terrain - I use them on miniature bases so a little goes a long way.

I've used flowers from Silflor before, and Antenociti's Workshop are a good, trustworthy online retailer in the UK (see the post from Erunion for a link).

The idea is to fold the flower stem in half and glue the folded end down onto the base. The actual flower shape is not really very recognisable to be honest and I've seen some smaller scale models done at a place called Pendon Model Village that actually looked botanically accurate, but that's beyond my skill I'm afraid.

The thing I love about forums is that when you do have questions like this, people are usually more than happy to help you!
