Make your bases as small as you can so you can use the terrain as many ways as possible. I set this up in about about ten minutes for this illustration. I use lots of different small detail parts. I use the Christmas village roads for every thing. Mount some of your trees separately The old 40K buildings make good buildings too. It is easier for me to answer questions about how I do things than for me to give general advice. |

The square bases will work well for WOTR. I put sidewalks on some of the 40K buildings I made in the past. They are more useful for other things if you make the roads and sidewalks separate. |

I think the river and the bridges are an important part of the city. I think I would start with one small part at a time and work up to it. May be a building, a statue then some walls and fences.I have some purpose built boards but they are hard to store. |

yeah i was considering doing a small part of each side of osgiliath so you could have the orcs attacking one side like in the return of the king or have a scenario with faramir and boromir holding the bridge for a number of turns or somethig like that. Does anyone have any ideas about the bridge i mean should it be whole or ruined and then create some kine of wooden platform to make ot whole or have two interchangeable bridges one whole and one ruined |

You could make the bridge like they had in the WotR Rulebook- the Osgiliath Battle Report. |
