Haven't used it before, does it retain the smell of the tea or does that go away? Anything I should know before I try it? |

Map Anything organic should be sealed with matte medium (white glue and water) to prevent decay and seal in any organism that may live within. Once finished, you should spray the groundwork with Testors Dulcote or a similar sealant to lock everything in. |

I made a Lothlorien terrain using a mix of green tea, black tea and other teas. It looks great. more realistic and it is CHEAPPPPPP. try it, yo won't waste your time and money |

I use it all the time, as well as dried herbs, here is an example that I used on my forest boards made over 10 years ago and they are still going strong: CLICK HERE |

Thanks everyone, I knew for pieces of bark I had to microwave it to get rid of any critters and to seal it, but wasn't sure of what to do with tea. So far I have a mix of rooibos, green and some other tea - think I will add some orange pekoe to it also. Liking the mixture of colors and texture and looking forward to using it. Need to go wander down the tea and herb aisle to see what strikes my eye. Mithaearon - that is a great looking board! Again, thanks everyone! |

Cheers. I am currently working on a different way of setting up a forest board and am still using tea and mixed dried herbs as the floor material. Hopefully it will be ready by next month and an article will go up on ToME |

Found a nice tea for grasslands - might use for my Rohan riders bases (whenever I get around to painting them) Has been fun tearing apart different tea bags to see what use they could be |

I go through the old spices and use these for ground scatter. I have found the Italian Seasoning blends especially effective plus they have a nice scent! |
