Below is a 1000 points Dwarf army. Due to my shortage of models the list might not be ideal, but hopefully is still worthy. Furthermore I am using Xelee's houserules, thus point costs are slightly different for command options.

It's actually 1005 points.

I think the reduced-cost banner will actually be useful for the axemen and the Khazad since I want to ensure they will be charging. I would include more Khazad but unfortunately I am short of models.
Do you think Iron Guard is worth considering now that Throwing Axes (under Xelee's houserules again) are more effective?

Solid list but your right about wanting more Khazad Guard, get as many as possible. If allowed I'd proxy all the 2-H Warriors for them.
Shieldbearers for your Warrior Kinband to at the double and have access to free Will of Irons would be nice.

I could remove one company from the axemen's formation in order to include two Shieldbearers for the warriors.
I am not overly concerned about my main battle line being able to move at the double. The purpose of the Dwarves with Shields is to withstand enemy frontal attacks while simultaneously wearing them down for my Axemen and Khazads to strike. But the ability to roll Will of Iron is useful, especially for a Dwarven army.
