Does anyone have a link to any new rules/changes to the games. New characters etc.

Also one question, if a player is heroic duelling someone who has epic strike. And they call it. Does that character have a FV of 10 in the duel? Only asking as it says that’s its there raw fight value. So it says to take away any modifier such as gloves and 2 handed weapons. Is the epic strike a bonus modifier that also shouldn’t count?

Cause let’s me honest a hero like durburz could never match up to someone like Elrond in combat.

A Hero can perform more than one heroic/epic action per phase. Thus he may declare Heroic Duel AND Epic Strike, and his enemy may answer with Epic Strike (if they have this ability). I'm sorry.

The only official supplement to the game is the "Official Update Version 1.1"

A proposal for a small change to the Rules, which we found to be fundamental to do justice to War of the Ring and to cancel a large part of the unbalance accusations that are made against it.

Usually Battlefield, Terrain and Objectives are known only after players have chosen their Forces. Yet this creates often unbalancing situations: a great army is in disadvantage in The Battle of the Pass while a small one it is in Shieldwalls; you may leave the idea of having trebuchets or rams in your army, to find out that there are many Defensible Terrain features that give cover to your opponent; and so on.
In similar manner, players having no idea of what kind of army their opponents are going to deploy might prove to be an advantage for one side and a disadvantage for the other.
Both the factors above depend overall upon mere chance, thus are often cause of disappointment among players.

To mitigate this, players are allowed to prepare a Dynamic Force instead of the traditional one. A Dynamic Force is made of a Fixed Force, enclosing not less than 75% the stated points, and three Option Forces, each enclosing not more than 25% the stated points. The Dynamic Force summed with any of the three Option Forces can never totalize more than 100% the stated points and must respect all other army rules and decrees.
A player is allowed to know in advance his opponent’s Fixed Force only. Once Battlefield, Terrain and Objectives are determined, both players complete their army by choosing one of their three Option Forces, and reveal them to each other.
