And that mahud chieftain look fantastic karavatis

With the last day of the month being today i will probably not complete my warriors of erebor.

Here is my finished submission for the February Challenge:

Tauriel Captain of The Guard and 7 Mirkwood Palace Guard

My first completed Painting Challenge. Quite happy except for Tauriel. Her skin was trauma to my brain, just couldn't get it right.

Just about got in by the skin of my teeth so here's my entry, my rag-tag alternative Desolation of Smaug Fellowship! Good fun painting these figures, lovely sculpts all!

Here is my entry, Bilbo, Balin, Dwalin and Thorin. I couldn't finish the barrels in time so these foot versions will have to do:

My entry. considering I had to paint 12 of the fell wargs and 6 wild wargs, they didnt come out too bad.

Here's my finished entry: Grinnah and seven goblins

That base that is under the end of Grinnah's base is actually just an empty base, its one of a few 'filler' bases I've made for the goblin town display (Check my WIP to see what I mean!)

Changed my entry as ran out of time to work on the Gondor group. I went with ringwraiths and had to strip them, make a custom base and get it ready all in the last 5 hours. Just finished in the nick of time! Painting quality suffered obviously but pleased with overall result.

Here is my entry!

I don't have time to do better photographs. I'm in such a rush to make an appointment now.

Pity about the broken sword. I'll say its a morgul blade and he just stabbed someone??

Black is a very difficult colour to highlight but you have done it fantastically well, well done John.

4 Numernor Spearmen notice the conversion work on 2 of them (if you can't notice thats good work by me

).

3 Numenor Bowmen. One of the bows snapped just before taking this

All led by my Numenor Captain with shield.

I promise you I didn't do any work on them between now and last night, except of course fix the broken bow.

Thank you Gandlaf. I'm pleased you think so. It was such a rush job! I used shadow grey and was pleased how it helped. Some of the paint is still wet in the photos. I had to rush off to support a school gala and was late ha-ha.
