(black sabbath is doing a concert in britain (the download festival) there will also be Metallica performing The Black Album, Megadeth, Billy Talent and more. That would be an awesome show.

My MS is messing with my hands lately and trying to tackle the Rohan units is going to be tough for me...I may have to rethink this challenge or maybe even skip it until next month. I'm going to try Orcs I think (more forgiving if they look a little sloppy), so I'll retake a proof photo in case I do go that rout.

Here's my proof picture, sorry it's so late but the camera went back to school after break with its' erstwhile owner and she's dreadfully slow at uploading anything.

So, it's an Easterling Banner Bearer, converted Captain and Hornblower and Amdur.

Also, BotWT is going to cause quite a stir of jealousy with that Rohirrim Captain! :lol:

If I could just get some Super Glue, I may enter my Gundabad Blackshield Command, as I will need to paint up them, 5 Warg Marauders and 2 Generic Ringwraiths soon.

Thanks, I thought it would give me a good idea of how they all compare. Amdur was a last-minute addition, I didn't have him til last Saturday.

As a collector I have pretty much every option and army open to me, which is a bit of my issue.

@IsleStaggerhol, look at what everyone else has entered, and make sure you do one completey different.

@Hurin, I got rid of my FC Amdur on foot as I had the metal oomne already. I would like to see the difference as it will help me when i come to the rest of my Easterlings later.

Yeah, I just realized that there are a lot. I guess it's because they're new. I know that I, for one, dug my poor neglected Easterlings out when I saw last month's WD.

Here is my latest progress.

Need to wash the armour next. Not sure whether to paint the banner brown or green (I’ll be distinguishing my Helmingas with brown shields instead of green).

To go with my Dragon Knight and banner Bearer pictured earlier in the thread, here is my proof for Amdur. I had intended to paint the mounted version (cos I thought it would look cool in a group shot behind the others, but the mounted one was miscast, and the replacement won't arrive for about two weeks, which would really be cutting it fine to paint).

I think I'll base him on a rock, just so that he's slightly taller than the dragon knight.

Currently the armour has been done and cloth basecoated on the others.

lol i wish that too...i didnt even start painting sauron last month

but at least this month i already started

already painted the horse of the mtd banner bearer...i want to paint so many things that i dont even know what to choose
