May I first congratulate you all on such magnificent entries. Some really I press ice work but I have a soft touch for Crucifers work. It was a close call and I would in general call you all winners. |

Wow tough choice! Fin's gondorians are beautiful though... How I imagined Gondor before the movies! Crucifer, Harfoot and others.. Just awesome! |

So many entries this month and nearly all of them are simply superb  Although I really hate looking at them with the pimples and disgusting boils and stuff the most well-painted entry goes to GreenDragons Goblins  Well Done

Wow! I'm staggered at the quality of these entries. I dithered for a bit, but in the end I felt really inspired by the quality of the hair/ beards on BizarreWarstar's dwarves - fantastic stuff matey. |

I voted for Grungehog with his dwellers because he had so much paintwork to get through and yet completed it wonderfully with amazing detail Those bases look great too

This was a hard one. So many great entries I couldn't name a clear honorable mention. For me, the win goes to Fin. From the bases, to the weathering, to the crisp paint lines, his models had it all Congrats to all the entries, good stuff |

Voted Fin. Being a Tolkien-nerd myself, I love how he's made the Gondorians true-to-the-book. Might be a bit biased thus, but even looking at it objectively, I would still go for Fin: the painting is excellent and the conversions are great. The other entries are also very, very good though! I see lots of quality! Well done all!

Great job to all who have completed a warband to such high standard in a month. There were so many to choose from but in the end i voted for Fin's Gondor as they are just awesome. Realy nice painting everyone

I went for Edge67 because I loved how he painted the Wargs, bit I also saw some impressive looking Erebor Warriors, Grimhammers, Goblins and Wood Elves. Good one everyone

@Aelfwine: looks like a very neat entry but the picture quality make it very hard to see... I think it would greatly help taking your photos in dim daylight (solid sunlight is too strong) and perhaps using a light box too @Fin: Awesome! I love the conversions, basing, miniatures, everything! @Grungehog: Great looking warband there very innovative proxying.@BizzareWarstar: Wow! fanatically smooth highlighting on everything! Durin is just brilliant! it was a somewhat impossible toss up between Fin and BizzzareWarstar both of which had many many winning factors... In the end I chose Warstar's entry simply because of the smoothness and the quality of Durin. Fantastic work from all the entries though... these competitions are really becoming something special |

Wow so much tough competition, I have to take my hat off an applaud everyone this month - well done. Painting a whole warband in a month isn't easy for all of us with full time jobs/study etc so well done all! Thanks elflover! I've never actually gone in intending to get the "oh my they are horrible" reaction, but in this case I'm over the moon that I did. I shall not disclose my vote just yet but wow some great inspiration and ideas here folks, brilliant!

Very tough decision this time.. For me especially between Fin and Cruci... Fin made it after all because of the marvellous minis, perfect painting and beautiful bases.. |

Oh my... The voting gave me a hard time... So many great entries that it's a shame you only have one vote... I really love Crucifer's dark colours on those Uruks, Grungehog's demon warband makes me hope he will join with some of Morgoth's beasts in this months S&C challenge, John Wayne's captain conversion sent me back into the early hobby days and Fishlegs' clean style is just awesome, but in the end, I had to give my vote to BizarreWarstar and his Dwarfs... Cracking paintjob! Nice work altogether! I really should give all your works some feedback... This is some extraordinary painting standard for battlefield purposes!!! |

Really very impressive entries from everyone, extremely difficult to chose one over the other... My favourites are Harfoots dwarves and John Waynes Numernorians, for their bases especially, but the painting is lovely too! Well done everyone! |
