Great Idea/Model Son of Fundin - I'm not sure about the pose however, is he just sitting there?

Yes, he is sitting on a stone and leans onto his sword. He is meant to be a ranger from Dale after the battle at Erebor during the war of the ring.

I went for BizzareWarstar in this one because of the extremely dynamic pose that he has sculpted straight from scratch.

I would love to have some of those figures in my army

Very cool idea SOF - My first impression was that he was intending to stab the guy in the heart/eye was why I asked - looking forward to seeing it finished up and painted!

well it seems my vote has tipped the balance, I voted for khamul and amdur, for their dynamic poses, and quite frankly because I know how hard it can be to sculpt those positions acurately

Very hard vote indeed! All of the sculpting is great, and each conversion/sculpt is very original. Khamul, Amdur and the Shaman are all dynamic, and the Ranger with casualty on the other hand is very solemn and characteristic.
I went for Son of Fundin in the end, because I found his sculpting to be just a little better (very neat putty work sir!).
Anyway, great job all three! :yay:

Congratulations Son of Fundin. The fact the voting was so close goes to show the high levels of skill shown by all entrants.

Thank you Dave! And to eberybody who voted for me! But IMO a 16:16:16 would have been more realistic. Very good sculpting Bizarre Warstar and Son of Éomund!
