Had some Necrons sat in my room since January, thought it was about time I finished building them and doing some test models! List is: Quote: 1500 Pts - Necrons Roster
HQ: Lord (1#, 200 pts) 1 Lord @ 200 pts (WarScythe; Destroyer Body; Resurrection Orb; Solar Pulse) Elite: Immortals (6#, 168 pts) 6 Immortals @ 168 pts Troops: Warriors (10#, 180 pts) 10 Warriors @ 180 pts Troops: Warriors (10#, 180 pts) 10 Warriors @ 180 pts Fast Attack: Destroyers (4#, 200 pts) 4 Destroyers @ 200 pts Fast Attack: Destroyers (4#, 200 pts) 4 Destroyers @ 200 pts Heavy Support: Heavy Destroyers (1#, 65 pts) 1 Heavy Destroyers @ 65 pts Heavy Support: Heavy Destroyers (1#, 65 pts) 1 Heavy Destroyers @ 65 pts Heavy Support: Monolith (1#, 235 pts) 1 Monolith @ 235 pts Total Roster Cost: 1493 I've purchased some Vallejo Fluorescent green paint, I dislike the plastic rods, so I replaced them all with a piece of wobby wire! Oh I also chaopped up all the legs and repositioned them to be more upright. The first glowy green bit test was three coats of the fluor green over light grey: Second test was three coats over white, what a difference! Poor photos.. its more yellowy green than the photo, but you can still tell! |

Awesome effect! I have those fluo-paints aswell waiting to try something out! You don't have a blacklight by any chance? Would be great to see the effect of it on the miniature! I once quickly used just green fluo marker-pen on a Rohan warrior to see what it would look like when I went to a party I knew of where blacklights were... It looked sweet, haha! |
