My GW plays movie music a lot- lets just say I have the complete works of all three LoTR movies, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean I, II, III, Transformers, Black hawk down and The last samurai completely and totally memorized, down to mistakes (yes, pro players still make oopsies, just not as big) and, in some cases, the correct notation and score (like LoTR:RoTK). Plus, I drive the manager crazy with my whistling.

Dakkita Dakkita Bowwwww...... Air guitar, For the Win!

Man, my GW has the weirdest music choices I swear (brisbane GW). One day they'll play mainstream rock, and the latest type of music their playing is rave

I go to clubs to do that, maybe I should pull a stunt like the Chaser's :P

One hobby store in my area played soundtracks like Brightlance said all day. I heard the new Superman music so much there that when we played it in marching band, I didn't even need to use the music...I already knew how to play it...

Another plays Public Radio all day, so you hear things like Mozart, Bach, and Strauss all day long.

believe me , Brisane isnt the only victim ....

The manager in GW The Hague dropped his dice once and started playing air guitar on the Finnish Number that won the Eurovision Song Contest (thought it was called Lardi or Lerdi). I didn't sleep well for the next week ...

Gosh, and I though it was exciting when we got almost the entire store to sing "Hoist the Colours" in unison

I just switch on the radio while I paint - as long as I don't have to endure BBC radio [insert number here] I'm fine. London has enough stations to keep me happy.

well, what i actually meant was: at leat "I" think so. i think they have a loot of good songs, but other people just say they are bad because of one song.

a few good ones: blood red sandman, the devil is a loser, would you love a monsterman.

I usually listen to some music while I paint and game. I enjoy listening to oldies. Classic rock from the 50's, 60's and 70's.

I personally refuse to play or paint without some form of brain numbing metal in the background, thankfully my local GW is a metal head aswell and is more than happy to oblige  .

Aye, I wish I did, but I missed it. It's a good thing that the Chaser's let you download podcasts.

Back OT :P, I attempted to paint today without music. Not as good. Nowhere near as easy to paint...I just got distracted

Too true. If I dont have music playing when I do any sort of work (be it minis or work work), I get distracted and such...not good when you want a decent paycheck

Ahh, not deviating that much:p, we have a few muse followers. Although I would question you on your opinion on how you think that the chemical brothers are 80's metal

New update on my GW store...it seems that the music depends on the red shirts inside. When I went in a few days ago, this guy with long long locks had some strange kind of metal playing...I prefered the rave music of the other red shirts TBH :P

Not really 80's rock eh but the Chemical Brothers know how to pump out a beat or two. And Muse is possibly my favorite band of all time. I have a good 100 and something Muse songs on my MacBook. possibly slightly obsessive lol. I believe that you guys should try Yngwie Malmsteen as he is honestly a legend! 8)

I often have my iPod on while painting/modelling with a broad selection of my favourites - such as Alex Lloyd, Gomez, Nirvana, Hunters and Collectors, Rolling Stones, Greenday, Pearl Jam, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers to name but a few.
