Right My Turn.....

urmmmmmmmm......

To either side of the Morannon (the Black Gate) stand two black hills crowned with towers.

a) What is the name of each individual tower ?

b) What are they collectively known as ?

So I want three names in total, 2 for part (a) and one for part (b)

Azog, just letting you know that I asked that same question just a few days ago. Sean got it right that time too, if I remember.

I wonder what the odds of that happening is.

I will make sure I find something more devious next time I get to ask ;-)

Cant be bothered to dig the book out and cant remember if what you are looking for has 'specific' names, but I know he took 'Gold' (not Mithril) Mail Armour and a Silver Axe from Smaugs hoard :?:

There are quite afew events that unfold after Morgoths return, so I guess I'm guessing in what you mean by his 'first attack' (not that he was attacked).

So, if I have read up correctly, he returned to Middle-earth in the year of the Valor 2998. The Valor years ran until 3000 and then changed to the years of the sun.
Morgoth attacked Fingolfin in 105, so that would be 107 years ?

not this one!

It was The First Battle in the Wars of Beleriand during the First Age, it happened just before Feanor and his Noldor returned to middle-earth, and it was against the Sindar and their allies. When the battle ended Cirdan was besieged in the Havens of the Falas.

Hope this gives a good hint.. :)
