Mordor, Angmar, Misty Mountains... :)

But not Morannon orcs?

Anywhere orcs.

Ok, but will you sculpt a kind of 'generic' armour on the orcs (like GW's Mordor orcs), and not Morannon orc armour?

They will not have GW (New Line) Morannon Orc armour. I want these to be my own design.

I guess some will have plate armour, some chainmail and others will have leather armour.

At the risk of causing you untold amounts of grief (but tempered with the fact I know you won't be tearing your hair out over it), have you thought about doing these as SHS figures?

SHS - Separate Head System

So, you could do generic heads, some Isengard 'inspired' heads, helmeted, hooded, bare, shaman etc on sprues, and then a variety of bodies, allowing untold mixing and matching.

Just an idea...

So, you will be doing some heroic figure next? Do I get any royalties?

Sorry, no. You're not royal.

SHS?! Sounds great... but not this time. I just want to sculpt some orcs without it getting too complicated. If I cast them, then I may swap some heads around and do some conversions.

Here's a new orc face next to a GW one to see scale.

Here it is next to my finger nail!

When these have set I'll need to work on the backs of the heads and add the essential pointy ears. :)

More brilliant sculpts! This is some serious talent mate, Ebob probably went through similar projects to refine his work to the quality it is today and yours is certainly up there! Pack in the day job and take up breeding orcs! 8)

I simply love your orcs, they're very... er orcy.

I can't wait to see an army full of your wonderfully sculpted orcs, Natarn.
