I've just been catching up on your work Tim and I have to say it all looks fantastic, as always! Some really nice looking and unique miniatures you've got there, nice work :)

Thanks alot fellas, well after the intensity that was Axenarf it has been nice to do something a bit less stressful, recently I was asked to paint four new miniatures for a company called 4A and i have now completed three of them, I am only allowed to show three out of the four the first two now and the third I will put in here when it is done, I have already completed another one but that has been requested to be kept unseen for a while longer, so for now here are the two that I can show as finished models.

I didn't have alot of time to put into these so both of these models have about a days work in each, in fact by the time I have done my quota they will all have taken me about the same amount of time, like I say nice to just do something simple. These minis will be on show at a wargames event in Duhram at the weekend.

Oh and by the way I have started painting an Lotr mini at long last. The first of my Morgul Knights has been started.

Tim, you turn out little masterpieces in less time than it takes me to clear enough clutter to have space to even think about painting...
The red one is very reminiscent (in shape) of the Gremlins. The second one is like a cross between a Tyranid and a minotaur with a hint of Gaarew in there too, I believe...(allegedly :P )

Cheers guys, here is the last one that I can show for now of this little commission, this was a rush and it shows but I had to have it done so all the minis can be posted off tomorrow, I missed the bloody mould line on the outstretched arm but it is too late to do anything about it now,

At least now I can turn my attention back to my Morgul Knights, I'll hopefully get a WIP up of the first one some time tomorrow.

I don't see any mould line.

They look awesome, perhaps it's an idea, to make them slimy?
There was an article about that on the GW site.

Looks like it ran straight out of a '40s horror movie.

Awesome painting Tim. Can't wait to see what you do with the Morgul Knights :yay:

After 19 pages I thought I'd better load the page and see what the big deal was and WOW I'm not dissapointed, fantastic work. Have you thought about making the swamp creature thing look a bit wetter? Maybe with a coat of gloss varnish and some water-effect drips?

There are a couple of places that need a retouch or another little highlight but so far I think it is going in the right direction, the difficulty is going to be maintaining a good contrast using only greys and also making it look right.

Hi thanks, monochrome painting is basically painting an entire miniature including base in shades of all of one type of colour in this case grey ranging from black to white in this case I am trying to get a black and white movie look to the finished model.

Well i think it looks awesome. There is still enough contrast between the skin and cloak to make it look great as usual. :yay:

WOW why have i only just found this thread? I just looked through all 19 pages and every single model was AMAZING!!

tidoco, (in case you didn't already know) you are an incredibly talented painter. if you haven't done already (i didn't read everything i just looked at the pictures) you should seriously enter into golden demon.

i'm not usually one for spamming emoticons but:
