Gondor and Arnor - 6
Rohan - 6
Elves - 6
Dwarfs - 6
Mordor - 1st
Isengard - 5
Moria - 5
Fallen Realms - 6
Angmar - 4

I added one to Gondor/Arnor due to their variety of basic and elite warriors, strong Epic Heroes and having the game's best artillery pieces.

Gondor and Arnor are not even in the same league as Mordor though.

Just so I am clear, this is now a second round and we can revote?

If not, ignore the below.

Gondor and Arnor - 6
Rohan - 6
Elves - 6
Dwarfs - 6
Mordor - 1st
Isengard - 5
Moria - 5
Fallen Realms - 7
Angmar - 4

It all revolves around the lists with the 'big three' as cores and what troops exist in the 25-30pt range IMO. So my next off the island is....

Right, no second round, yet. If this thread comes to a standstill we can all have another vote. So, we are still on:

Gondor and Arnor - 6
Rohan - 6
Elves - 6
Dwarfs - 6
Mordor - 1st
Isengard - 5
Moria - 5
Fallen Realms - 6
Angmar - 4

I'm surprised Rohan is doing better than FR.

I think those FR votes all went to Mordor.

But yes, I am surprised as well.

Hmm, I'd really love to play a good force of Mordor or any other 'competitive' factions with my Elves then, reading all these replies.

+1 Moria, but I am a bit biased.

Why hate Rohan? They work very well, if you play them right...

This is turning out to be very interesting. I'm wishing I voted for Gondor instead of Mordor... by the way, you forgot Gondor hobbitsrule22.

That's fine, the consensus rating for them was something like 3 out of 5. So people think they are good but not great.

What is more puzzling here though is they get a vote towards being strongest army and they are attracting votes over several armies that clearly outdo them. For instance, Gondor can be run as a Rohan army, only Gondorian players can have infantry and cavalry that does pretty much the same thing for cheaper, while having a lot of other options too. Fallen Realms is similar in that regard, but then you throw in Nazgul and Corsair Arbalesters.

Still, if they really are the most successful army in your area, then they deserve their vote.

Hmm, I'm suspecting some people are voting for their favourite armies, rather than the most competitive ones...

The first post clearly states "what you think" and opinions differ so these results are clearly possible...
And Gondor is way more expensive than Rohan, besides Rohan has amazingly good heroes for low points costs

Not really. Being cheap means that you have to buy loads and their only elite is in metal. They are okay but I would say Theoden can easily be killed in an epic-strike-duel combo. Eomer is the only really good one for his points IMO.

Of course, maybe I should be a bit more open minded. I can't understand why some people have voted the way they have, but, as you said, opinions differ. :)
