I like them quite a bit, though a bit more variation would be good. It seems that there is only one green and 2 brown colours for the clothes and leather. I normally go for about 5 different colours for the cloth/leather, but it's all personal preference I guess. :)

The first scenario requires 9 Dunedain miniatures so here is the next batch of three with spears.

Thanks

The clothing look great though here and there there are a couple details that could be fixed. Particularly the shaft of the spear near the hands though there are some other areas like the face of the ranger in the middle. Tidying up those areas would make them look a lot better.

Anybody who can do eyeballs has my praise. Good job on the rangers. I just have an issue with some of the faces, like the one of the ranger on the right on your second set of ranger pics, but that's probably the sculpt.

Thanks again for all your comments on both the minis and my website which is a work in process in itself... Yeah the Ranger on the right with the spear was a weird sculpt, it looks like he's wearing a face mask as there is no depth to the hood, perhaps my painting as made this more obvious...

That's a nice collection of Ringwraiths.

One simple tip to make them look even better: you have some sand "hanging" over the edges of the base to the base rims. If you make sure after gluing the sand that the top part of the base rim stays clean of sand, you'll get more tidy-looking models with very little work. Anyway, they look very good as they are.

What's next, some terrain for the first scenario or minis for the Hobbits vs. Ringwraiths scenarios?

The Ringbearer and his friends as they leave the Shire, unaware of what hunts them. These are from the Fellowship of the Ring box set...

I have acquired some of the metal Dunadan (Guardians of the Shire) so I'll be painting these pretty soon to replace the plastic Rangers of Middle-earth.. Also I've started making the specific terrain for the games i.e Barrows, Bucklebury Ferry, Amon Sul etc. I'll start another thread on the terrain WIP soon....

Thanks

To save the Hobbits from the Ringwraiths, Gildor. That brings me to the end of scenario 4....
