Way to true. Some of it may be due to GW's shop and tournament rules rather than narrow minded opinions. At least most people here are not as rude and vicious about it as some of the historical gamers.

I like all of your conversions. The Ent is great :!: :yay:

The whole lot of them are amazing, Praetorian. GW is going to hate you for how easily you outdid their lousy prowler sculpts!

Saw the pictures of the "Black Shields" coming out next month and tried my hand at one or two.
First one has his shield made larger by adding another "blade" of Pro create. Added some chain mail and armor plates. Decided to skip the "Santa suit" red shirts they were wearing. Warg cape made from Pro create as well. Mace is from flagellant set GW.

EDIT Any idea where the rules for these are in the Strategy Game? They have an article about them in WD but no stats or point costs!

Today I did a conversion of a rohan archer into a warrior with an axe and shield, I'll put up photos as soon as I get a photobucket/imageshack account and have taken some shots. :)

I look forward to seeing it. 8)
I'm gonna buckle down & get a photobucket account myself, because I finally figured out how to make my new digital camera work.
@ Praetorian13: now that's one gobbo I wouldn't want to meet.

Great Blackshield there Praetorian. I also concur with the 'no santa suits on the goblins' policy.

A troll I sculpted - many thanks to ebob for his expert advice:

I'll put some others up when I get photobucket more cooperative about the size. :-X

That gunbadad blackshields looks very good evenb better as the the stupid fat gw sculpts.

And that troll looks amazing although the pose is not as aspiring as the sculpt.
