Well I'm "pleased" to say that my predictions came true, I couldn't finish the elves due to lack of time. The internship + schoolwork eats way to much of my time. The time I do got to spare and spend in the hobby are currently used to paint some Black Templars..
I'll see if I can finish the elves before the end of Oct (so I won't compete with the month october, but will still post here if it's ok)

Well done cyndra, they look good. :D

I wasn't able to finish it in time but here are a few wip pictures.

As you can see they need a few touch ups, washes, highlights and a good base.
Shall we just say that this year September goes to the 35th instead of 30

Thanks aqan, shame you weren't able to finish in time.

Some pretty neat conversions you got there, how did you do them?

cyndra: looking pretty darned awesome. I love alternative colour schemes and the shield looks very sweet indeed!

aqan: Shame you didn't get them finished, but that's no excuse to stop and not show us final product, lol :D

agincourt777: Damn you for your fine fine painting and trying to claim poor picture quality, lol :D

I was expecting some kind of big statement of "this month closed - next month open, 'winners' and points of X amount go to...", hence me waiting, lol :D

QueenB: I presume that's over 8- points for SBG then, lol :D

Debating as to Dwarf entry or Easterling entry and whether it will be WotR or SBG, personally.

That's fair enough then ;)

Any thoughts as to whether I should do Dwarfs or Easterlings?

I personally would recommend easterlings ´cause i´m a big fan of those bronze armoured fanatics.

Looks like I'm going to be going for a WotR company of 8 Easterlings with pikes and shields :D

Coincidentally, 8 Easterlings with pikes and shields are bang on 80pts :D

Will edit this post with a picture tomorrow.

Well hello there chaps.

Nice work everyone.

Some great commitment being shown here.

I am just adding names and award points on an excel spreadsheet as this will really help me.

My pic(s) of the balrog will come quickly I promise (I forgot that we already hit october!! :O )

My October photo will appear at the same time

thanks everyone! =D

ah man...I get active 1 month to late  We need to get another going for either Oct (already in it) or November to give a breather for those that just finished. This will be a great way for me to get started on either the Elves or the Easterlings. ...or continue building up my Dwarves :D

ScrapeIron: Fairly sure the September month is done now ;) In which case, you've got untilt he 7th to "enter" the October month :D To aid you in your work, do Dwarfs this month and then maybe Easterlings next month :D

Corsair: Excellent idea :P Can you post the awards/points gained from each month too, please? (Obviously, there is only September atm :P ) That way, we can total it ourselves if we'd like to, but we can also see what each person has managed each month.
